Mike & Megan Elkins

Mike and Megan Elkins have served in Northern Uganda since 2014, living and working alongside vulnerable families, local churches, and community leaders in the West Nile region.

Together they help lead the Arise Center, a ministry dedicated to restoring relationships, strengthening communities, and creating opportunities for individuals and families facing poverty, disability, trauma, and social isolation.

Through programs such as Shine, the Arise Center provides practical support including food assistance, clean water, shelter, rehabilitation services, education, discipleship, and community inclusion for some of the most vulnerable people in the region.

The Elkins family is committed to equipping local leaders and building sustainable, community-based solutions that reflect the love and dignity of Christ. Their work seeks not only to serve individuals in need, but to strengthen families, churches, and communities throughout Northern Uganda.
