LAOR (Hebrew word meaning "into the light") is an international organization dedicated to Leading the Abandoned, Outcast, & Rejected out of darkness and Into the Light by transforming the lives of survivors of human trafficking.

This ministry currently serves in Asia, where prostitution is legal and children are bought and sold at a price. The term Into the Light carries a two-fold meaning: (1) literally going into red light areas and (2) leading exploited women and children out of darkness into the light.

The name was inspired by a Deaf Ministry workshop I attended: we began in a dark room, unable to see each other or communicate using American Sign Language (ASL); as we gradually moved into the light, smiles, clear visibility, communication, and full connection emerged.

Our vision for red light ministry: to make visibility, freedom, and dignity possible for those trapped in darkness. At our core is the good news of the Light of the World - Jesus Christ - Yeshu Masih in Hindi.

We build relationships, share the good news, and offer practical support through relief, education, skill training, income opportunities, and lead them toward spiritual transformation and healing. We are committed to serving the ones overlooked by others, bringing healing to brokenness, a pathway to a better future.
