Summer on Mission
This summer, we’re not just talking about missions—we’re stepping into it together.
For the next 10 weeks, we’ll be walking through a focused journey of prayer over our summer trips to South Africa, Kenya, and Nicaragua, as well as over many of the people, partners, and places we serve through Links.
When the people of God pray, give, and go together, the Gospel goes further than any one of us could take it alone.
Each week you’ll be invited into three simple rhythms of participation in what God is doing across the world:
Pray — aligning our hearts with God’s heart for the nations
Give — investing in real people, real ministry, and very real needs
Go/Send — taking a tangible step, or helping someone step out and take theirs
Together, these small, faithful steps become something much bigger.
Why Summer on Mission? Because God is already at work in all of these places—through local churches, pastors, missionaries, and partnerships connected to our Links family, and it is a privilege to come alongside them in meaningful and intentional ways, and to help "hold their hands up," (Exodus 17:11-12) as they work hard each and every day to bring the good news of Jesus to people in need.
Mission isn’t for one moment alone—it’s a movement of everyday obedience.
Over the course of these 10 weeks, we will pray for open hearts, strengthened leaders, unity, provision, protection, and lasting Gospel impact. We’ll invest in the next generation, ask God to call more workers, and pray together in faith that we would continue to be an organization positioned to connect people, confront poverty and create potential to change the world!
Whether you’re new to missions or have been engaged for years, this is an invitation to deepen your role in God’s global story.
Together, we are joining what God is doing—across nations, across cultures, and across generations.
Let’s pray with open hands and open hearts.
Let’s trust God for more than we can imagine.
Let’s step into something eternal.
