Eye Relief in El Salvador
"The eye is the lamp of the body. If your eye is healthy, your whole body will be full of light."
—Matthew 6:22
Transforming Lives in Tular, El Salvador
In partnership with Proyecto Siloé and Cristo Viene, our Central America Directors, David & Rebeca Cuchillas, recently led an Eye Relief Mission Day in the community of Tular, Usulután, El Salvador. Working with the local church and pastor, they facilitated vital health and wellness checks, shared the Gospel, provided a meal, and spent meaningful time in prayer and fellowship.
Together, we made a tangible difference:
200 adults and children received vision screenings
50 prescription glasses are being custom-made and will be delivered on our next mission day
20 individuals were approved for cataract surgery, opening the door to restored sight
200 meals were shared as families heard the Gospel and received prayer
Praise! Every child screened was found to have healthy eyesight. Thank you Jesus for Your protection and provision over these children!
"Healthy eyes are just the beginning—hope, faith, and community care are opening doors for lasting change.”
Physical health care matters deeply in these communities, but so does spiritual care. Our commitment is to bring both healing and hope to Tular and beyond.
Your generosity makes this possible. Every gift fuels moments like these—where sight is restored, the Gospel is proclaimed, and communities are strengthened.
