One of the greatest joys of my life is that I have gotten to spend time with so many leaders around the world who are giving their lives for the betterment of others. They love, they serve, they care, and the work with a relentless devotion to what God has called them to. Leaders who serve the poorest of the poor work in tensions most people can never fathom. There is always more work than could ever be done. Resources are always tight. There are always some steps forward followed by many steps back.

Wherever there is extreme poverty, there is heartbreak, there is pain, and there is difficulty.

Despite the challenges, God calls people to the front lives of service, and those people deserve all the encouragement and equipment we can give them. Our latest trip to Central America was deeply significant as we provided training for equipping and ministry, for encouragement, and provided space to address practical challenges while looking ahead together with hope and faith.

Please be praying for this team and the others like them all around the world.

The workers may be few, but they are mighty, and they are bringing the Good News of Jesus to hard places every day.

And the privilege of bringing Good News to them is Good News for all of us. By serving them, we were able to serve literally hundreds of families in extreme poverty. Thank you for your investment into Links which allows us to be a part of life-changing moments like this.
